Security and Protection Systems

The Vendor is required to provide all services, equipment and materials for access control systems, intrusion systems, and video and audio surveillance systems.
- Required to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with all existing standards, codes, rules and regulations.
- Inspections and commissioning as required by the eligible agency
- Must possess the ability to provide individual access codes and provide all access codes and access procedures to the eligible agency.
- Provide and install all related equipment and miscellaneous items such as wire, fasteners, hardware, etc. that may be needed to complete the work.
- Removal of existing systems.
- Replacement or upgrade of existing systems
- The work provided within this section includes a complexity of various single zone and multi-zoned systems, including circuit boards, communication devices, phone lines, system wiring, power supply, and batteries installed with or without panic buttons, motion detectors, door sensors, window sensors, glass-break sensors, key pads, and various notification devices (horns, strobes, etc.)
- Must designate a project manager as the single point of contact who must be certified to program all alarm systems in use throughout eligible agency facilities.
- Must possess the ability to provide individual access codes and provide all access codes and access procedures to the eligible agency.
- Must insure recording capacity of a minimum of 14 days when installing or modifying a video surveillance system.
- Audio Surveillance Systems must adhere to all relevant State Statutes and Agency requirements, which include the necessity for posted signage and notification to the Eligible Agency where the system is being installed.
- Provide Digital Video Recording Equipment (DVR), Network Video Recording Equipment (NVR), and/or Gateway and Hosted Video Equipment.
- Documentation shall include payroll records, copies of wage decisions, and/or other information that establishes a clear difference between the contractor’s standard wage and the prevailing county wage for any affected employee for that project.
