Security Services

The Vendor is required to provide Security Guard Services for transit operations throughout the agency service area.
- Security personnel to maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment at designated transit facilities, on transit vehicles, and during special events. Annual estimated hours of 5,200.
- General Deployment Expectations:
•    Officers may be dispatched at any time while on duty to any location within the agency service area as directed
•    Officers must remain flexible and able to respond to changing operational needs across the system
•    Transportation throughout the system will typically be via agency transit vehicles or coordinated/escorted by an agency supervisor
- Staffing Requirements
•    A typical shift shall consist of two (2) security officer
•    Agency reserves the right to adjust staffing levels based on operational needs, special events, or identified risks
•    Provide trained and uniformed security officers
•    Ensure personnel are punctual, professional, and capable of working independently or in teams
•    Provide a supervisor or designated point of contact for coordination
- Facility Operations Support (Restroom Oversight):
•    Conduct routine inspections of public restrooms throughout the transit system
•    Secure and lock restrooms at designated closure times as directed by agency 
•    Ensure restrooms are cleared of occupants prior to locking
•    Report cleanliness issues, damage, vandalism, or maintenance needs promptly
•    Monitor for misuse of facilities and address issues in accordance with agency policies
- On Transit Vehicles (Random Ride Coverage):
•    Ride assigned routes and vehicles to provide a visible security presence
•    Monitor passenger behavior and ensure compliance with agency rules
•    Deter and respond to disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior
•    Support operators in maintaining a safe onboard environment
•    Respond to incidents and coordinate with dispatch and law enforcement as needed
•    Document and report all incidents and notable interactions
