The Vendor is required to provide services shall include, but are not limited to, providing armed security personnel to deter unauthorized activities, maintain orderly conduct, respond to and assist during emergency situations, and support overall customer service and safety operations.
- Requirement:
1. Access control and monitoring
• Monitor entrance and exits to ensure only authorized individuals access restricted areas.
• Screen individuals entering the building as required.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity.
2. Customer and staff safety
• Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, assault, disorderly conduct, and other unsafe behavior.
• Provide customer assistance where appropriate (directions, wheelchair assistance, etc.).
3. Emergency response
• Respond to incidents including disturbances, accidents, threats, and medical emergencies.
• Contact law enforcement, emergency medical services, or fire services when necessary.
• Follow all county protocols for evacuations or lockdowns.
4. Reporting
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs detailing incidents, observations, and actions taken during each shift.
• Submit incident reports to designated county personnel on the day of the incident.
5. Patrol duties
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of county premises.
• Ensure fire exits and emergency equipment are accessible.
• Monitor parking areas to deter loitering and other criminal activity.
