The Vendor is required to provide security systems support services to ongoing support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and consulting for security and safety systems across water treatment facilities.
1. Access control system
• Evaluate the current access control system architecture, including servers, panels, card readers, and associated network infrastructure
• Identify deficiencies, obsolescence risks, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities
• Design and recommend upgrades or full replacement of:
o Card access control servers
o Field hardware (readers, panels, controllers, door hardware interfaces)
o System architecture and redundancy improvements
• Provide migration strategy minimizing downtime and maintaining facility security
2. Video surveillance system
• Assess existing video system servers, cameras, storage, and network performance
• Identify gaps in coverage, image quality, retention, and reliability
• Design and recommend upgrades or replacement of:
o Video management servers
o Camera systems (fixed, PTZ, specialty cameras as needed)
o Storage solutions and retention capabilities
• Provide recommendations for system scalability and integration with access control
3. System integration and optimization
• Evaluate integration between access control and video systems
• Recommend improvements for centralized monitoring and incident response
• Ensure compatibility with existing plant IT/OT infrastructure
4. Documentation and deliverables
• Provide a comprehensive assessment report including:
o Existing system condition and risks
o Recommended upgrades and alternatives
o Budgetary cost estimates
o Implementation roadmap and phasing plan
• Provide conceptual design drawings and system architecture diagrams.
