The Vendor is required to provide fire and security alarm monitoring firms for providing fire and security monitoring, access control, video surveillance and other related services for corporation properties and offices.
- Take over the monitoring, installation and repair of equipment including but not limited to alarms (fire and security), access systems, medical call, video surveillance, and other services as desired.
- Requirement:
1. Monitoring
• Monitor emergency call, fire and security systems through a central monitoring service.
2. Alarm equipment installation
• Will work with corporation to establish an acceptable product quality level and then install equipment (fire, security, access control, call systems, cameras, et cetera) as approved for new installation or replacement of existing equipment as needs arise and funding allows.
3. Inspection
• The inspection program shall include full documentation of the actual inspection, deficiencies identified, and any actions taken or scheduled.
• The annual required testing of the fire alarm panels and equipment
4. Repairs of alarm systems and equipment
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests of the intrusion alarm, key entry, fire and security systems and components.
• This work may include, but not limited to, updating existing intrusion alarm control panels and communicators and associated control equipment, power supplies and standby batteries and chargers, intrusion system keypads, motion detectors, audible devices, door alarms, as corporation directs.
• The hourly rate for normal or emergency services shall include labor for peripheral part replacement and all travel costs.
5. Emergency call systems
• Emergency call systems in place at its four elderly high-rise properties.
• Will supply equipment (when needed), repairs and software to keep that functionality operable.
• Monitor these systems.
6. Video surveillance
• The proposer will inspect, repair, replace and add cameras (including specialty cameras) as needs arise and funding allows.
