The Vendor is required to provide for unarmed, uniformed security services at location.
- Contract security guards will be required to cover third shift on weekdays and twenty-four hours on weekends and holidays for an estimated weekly minimum total of 352 hours.
- General Duties for Security Guards
• Operation of magnetometers and x-ray security screening units to screen all people entering the courthouse.
• Enforce sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Check all interior and exterior areas during the entire period of scheduled security coverage by making continuous patrol rounds of the Court facility, checking for maintenance problems, safety, and fire hazards.
• Enforce building fire and safety regulations, including no-smoking rules.
• Prepare on-line incident reports, as required.
• Crosstrain on all posts including the Command Center.
• Escort of contractors, vendors, and other personnel as directed.
• Must monitor and appropriately respond to alarm, fire safety, remote entry, closed-circuit television, elevator monitoring, and key control systems.
• Maintain all logs.
• Guards must be prepared to respond to conditions of fire, theft, trespass, vandalism, violence, disturbance, fights, and confrontations.
• Conduct in-house initial investigations.
• Security guards on patrol shall carry radios or any Court-issued equipment.
• Other duties as directed by the court or Director of Security.
