The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive Unarmed Security Guard Service solution for the District.
- Must deliver an unarmed Security Guard services that aligns with the agency security standards and code of ethics.
- Must provide comprehensive unarmed Security Guard services to ensure the safety and security of all students, personnel, visitors, facilities, and property within the designated locations;
- Must maintain consistent on-site security coverage during all required hours, including regular business hours, after-hours, weekends, and holidays, as specified or needed;
- Staff must report to assigned location 1 hour prior to start of operations at the assigned facility to complete safety inspections prior to the arrival of staff and students;
- Transition and Implementation
• Must provide a detailed transition plan outlining how services will be implemented without disruption;
• Must coordinate with the incumbent contractor (if applicable) to ensure continuity of operations;
• Must complete onboarding and training of personnel prior to the contract start date; and
- Security Operations
• Must provide personnel for fixed post assignments, including but not limited to entrances, reception areas, and other designated access points;
• Must conduct routine and randomized roving patrols to ensure comprehensive coverage and visibility;
• Must manage access control by verifying identification, credentials, and authorization for all individuals entering restricted areas;
• Must maintain control and accountability of keys, access cards, and other security-related assets;
• Must assist visitors, staff, and the public with directions, general inquiries, and access-related questions;
• Must provide a staffing plan that ensures full coverage of all required posts and shifts without interruption;
• Must assign personnel based on qualifications, experience, and site requirements;
• Must maintain contingency plans to address call-offs, absences, and staffing shortages, including immediate replacement of personnel;
• Must provide additional staffing support for special events, emergencies, or increased security needs as requested;
• Must ensure personnel arrive on time, remain on post, and adhere to assigned schedules;
• Must supply necessary communication equipment, such as radios or mobile devices, to support effective operations;
• Must ensure all equipment is properly maintained, functional, and appropriate for the assigned duties; and
• Must ensure that only approved, non-lethal equipment is used, in accordance with agency policies.
