Culture, Parks and Recreation Event Security Services

The Vendor is required to provide event security services for facilities and events managed or supported by agency.
- Security services will support a wide range of event types, including but not limited to:
• Large-scale festivals and concerts
• Trade shows and exhibitions
• Livestock and agricultural events
• Community and cultural events
• Private rentals and gatherings
• Multi-day and overnight events
- Provide flexible, scalable services that align with the operational needs of each event while maintaining consistent service standards across all locations.
- Park will serve as the primary service location, with additional support required across other agency-managed sites and City-supported events.
- Establish Consistent Security Standards
• Create a uniform approach to security services across all agency events and facilities
• Ensure all personnel meet defined expectations for professionalism, training, and performance
- Enhance Public Safety and Risk Management
• Provide proactive and responsive security services that reduce risk to attendees, staff, and facilities
• Support safe event operations through trained personnel and clear communication protocols
- Improve Customer Experience
• Deliver security services that balance enforcement with a welcoming, customer-service-oriented approach
• Ensure guests feel safe while maintaining a positive event environment
- Centralize Coordination and Accountability
• Establish a single, coordinated system for deploying and managing security services
• Improve oversight, communication, and consistency across events and locations
- Support a Wide Range of Event Types
• Provide flexible staffing solutions for events of varying size, complexity, and duration
• Accommodate specialized needs such as alcohol service, overnight security, and high attendance events
- Maintain Operational Flexibility
• Allow for scalability and adaptability across multiple venues and simultaneous events
• Provide the ability to address unique or large-scale event needs as they arise
- Strengthen Partnerships While Preserving Operational Control
• Maintain strong relationships with key partner events while clearly defining the City’s security service expectations
• Ensure City-managed events operate under consistent standards while allowing flexibility for partner-led events.
