Event Security Guard Services

The Vendor is required to provide security guard service contractors capable of meeting the town event security needs at its various facilities.

• Perform bag checks and security wand metal detection check for unauthorized items on both male and female patrons.
• Monitor the facilities by walking, riding a golf cart, and/or other means of transportation you can provide and consider best for actively and efficiently monitoring each facility and/or location. This shall include, but not be limited to, making rounds, manning specific areas or checkpoints, and assuring gates and doors are locked. Event security plans will be discussed with and approved by the Special Events Superintendent or their designee.
• Personnel shall take appropriate steps to prevent unauthorized entrance and access to facilities or contents therein.
• The contractor is responsible for providing proper equipment and training to all personnel in order to respond at all time.
• Mange and direct the flow of attendees to prevent overcrowding and ensure orderly conduct.
• Monitor crowd behavior and intervene in case of disturbances or conflict.
• Provide the Town with a comprehensive security report after each event, to address any issues or concerns.
• Arrive at venue at least one hour before the event start time to setup and conduct a final security check.
• Ensure all security personnel are briefed on their specific duties and position.
• Remain on-site until all attendees have left and venue is secure.
