The Vendor is required to provide on-site and armed security guard services at the agency toll facilities.
- Have training in laws and liabilities, security awareness, mediation and conflict resolution, disaster, and emergency situations, and managing personnel at various types of facilities.
- Be knowledgeable of the specification requirements to ensure strict compliance is continually maintained. The field supervisors must ensure and maintain continuous quality and completeness of the work performed by the security guards.
- Ensure security guards are monitoring all areas and taking appropriate actions as required by the contract.
- Make on-site inspections at each location a minimum of three times per day or per security guard shift, report the time the shift check was made on the Electronic Daily Security Report.
- Ensure and maintain quality and completeness of the work performed by the security guards.
- Be able to stand continuously for up to two hours at a time and up to 12 hours in a 24-hour period.
- Be able to walk unassisted for a minimum of 500 yards, climb a minimum of 3 flights stairs, and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Have the knowledge and skills to use a computer and be familiar with the operation of computers.
- Use proper business, telephone and two-way radio etiquette.
