The Vendor is required to provide for certified armed security services to ensure the safety, security, and continuity of operations for the department.
- The services needed include, but are not limited to:
• Building access control and visitor management
• Patrol facility and grounds and provide surveillance
• Timely incident detection, response, and comprehensive reporting
• Emergency response coordination
• Asset and personnel protection
• Required staffing levels by shift
• Access control protocols
• Site-specific requirements
• Use of security technology (video management system (VMS), Rapiscan, key card and alarm systems)
• Sensitive area protection (records rooms, data centers, health services, executive suites, armories)
• Compliance and enforcement of task orders, security post orders, safety-sensitive operational standards, and Agency Operating Procedures
• Accurate timely documentation and reporting
• Special event coverage
• Agency and site-specific training
• After-hours or emergency coverage
• Maintain sufficient staffing to ensure uninterrupted coverage
• No lapse(s) in coverage due to absenteeism, turnover, or scheduling conflicts
• Have established supervisory and quality control structures.
