The Vendor is required to provide for installation and equipment related to ongoing repair and updates to our current camera and door access system that would complement existing campus-wide security efforts for the general safety of students, staff, guests, and to help protect the assets of the college from vandalism or theft.
- Include the installation of new camera and door access equipment to expand and improve our current system as the need and opportunity arises and replace current equipment as it ages out.
- Requirement:
• Access control services and equipment suppliers must supply fobs for purchase that will be compatible with our system.
• Suppliers shall have partnership agreements and support agreements with third party suppliers and will troubleshoot those issues on behalf of college.
• Parts and labor needed to upgrade the door access system including all controllers and door hardware to the latest supported version as repairs or updates are made.
• Security camera services and equipment supplier will provide parts and labor needed to upgrade the video surveillance system including all controllers and door hardware to the latest supported version as repairs or updates are made.
• Best practices for setting up axis cameras for each family of models.
• Response time any replacement made must be the same make and model as the item being replaced unless directed otherwise by college.
• There shall be no charge for any equipment needed (rental or owned) for any supplier warranty work.
• TC has the right to contract with another supplier for services if the supplier is unable to provide services for any reason.
• Customer service expectations and quality technicians shall be qualified and familiar with mercury and axis brand equipment.
• The supplier shall supply all tools and equipment required for the execution of the assigned work.
• All trade-related equipment, hand tools and power tools, normally supplied with the labor to complete the requested services are not reimbursed.
• Equipment shall be included in the labor rate.
• Maintain adequate stocks of parts and materials both on service vehicles and at local office locations to allow for the timely completion of assigned tasks.
• All equipment, parts and materials shall be provided and installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, state, local building and fire codes.
• All equipment and materials provided must meet college specifications and approval.
• Hours of operation college business hours shall be defined as 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays
• Pay the straight-time hourly rate for work performed during these hours.
• Emergency and holiday rates will be paid for work performed from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Monday - Friday and all day Saturday or Sunday or any of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, memorial day, 4th of July, labor day, thanksgiving, Christmas day.
• The hourly rates shall include labor and travel time during the stated service hours.
• No other charges will be invoiced or paid by college (i.e. Mileage, travel, tools, truck charges, per diem, meals, hotels, etc.).
• Work standards suppliers shall ensure that all installations and repairs shall be concealed (or surface mounted with college approval) and be consistent with existing conditions.
