The Vendor is required to provide parks events security services to ensure the safety and security of all event attendees, staff, performers, vendors, and city property during concerts, festivals, community gatherings, and special events
- Duration:
• The security services will be required for all scheduled concerts and events. The exact dates and times of each event will be communicated in advance by the venue management team to the security company by written correspondence.
- Requirement:
1. Crowd management (must maintain crowd control insurance):
• Ensuring orderly entry and exit of attendees.
• Monitoring crowd density and managing crowd flow to prevent congestion.
• Resolving any crowd issues or patron concerns and complaints.
• Proactively identifying and addressing potential crowd-related issues including medical services.
2. Access control:
• Implementing a strict access control system to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Gate control, open and close all gates during the event for vendors and city staff.
• Checking tickets and valid identification at entry points.
• Verifying backstage access for authorized personnel only.
3. Baggage and security checks:
• Conducting thorough bag checks at entry points.
• Implementing metal detectors or other screening methods as required.
• Identifying and preventing the entry of prohibited items.
4. Artist and VIP protection:
• Providing close protection services for artists and VIP guests.
• Coordinating with artist management for specific security requirements.
• Ensuring artists and VIPs can move safely within the venue.
5. Surveillance and monitoring:
• Monitoring all areas of the venue through video camera monitoring and physical patrols.
• Reporting and responding promptly to any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
• Maintaining a constant communication network among security personnel.
6. Emergency response:
• Developing and implementing emergency response plans for various scenarios.
• Coordinating with venue staff and emergency services if required.
• Handling medical emergencies and providing first-aid assistance.
7. Incident documentation:
• Documenting all security-related incidents and preparing incident reports.
• Maintaining accurate records of security activities and personnel assignments.

• 1 supervisor per 10 licensed security guards
• Licensed security guards
• Backgrounds checks
• Crowd control specialists
• First-aid trained personnel
• The security company is responsible for backfill position(s), only actual hours worked are authorized for billing.
