The Vendor is required to provide supervise properly trained, equipped, armed or unarmed, and uniformed security guards, to complete the services, as well as any other requirements needed.
• Become and remain duly licensed and bonded in accordance with all applicable law.
• Only security guards that are a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age, possess a valid, government-issued identification, have a minimum high school diploma or G.E.D., pass a criminal record background check, and have no convictions related to sexual misconduct or any felony.
• Security guards shall demonstrate a high level of professionalism and expertise in the field of security including: interpersonal communications skills, general physical appearance, demeanor, and intelligence.
• Security guards must be qualified to carry firearms.
• Must be able to verify, to the county’s satisfaction, the level (police marksman) and quality of firearms training received and retained by the security guards.
• Ensure all security guards have a working knowledge of post intercom systems, security systems and computers prior to assignment.
