The Vendor is required to provide armed and unarmed security guards services for the authority.
- Requirements
• Required security service based on the coverage listed on the attached site schedule and as required by the authority.
• Security survey of each of the authority’s properties cited in the attached property schedule.
• The findings shall include recommendations for numbers of armed and unarmed personnel to be assigned to the various properties based on site requirements.
• Trained security force to perform all required and requested security duties and services and other related functions, including, but not limited to, the monitoring and operating of security related equipment and devices and being alert to and preventing conditions of threat, safety hazard, fire, theft, trespass, vandalism, misuse or destruction of authority property and employee personal property, acts of violence and other unlawful behavior
• Add armed guards to patrol select authority sites on the 4pm to 12:00 am shift.
• Within 45 days of implementation of this agreement, contractor shall develop and implement a security guard personnel policy, practice and procedures manual.
• Proactively keep security management informed of all security trends, relevant industry information, national, state, and local security alerts on an ongoing basis, or immediately if authority properties may be impacted.
• Full reports of incidents or conditions that are considered security violations or violations of existing orders, procedures or security best practices.
• All security officers shall have in the performance of their duties the appropriate equipment necessary to perform their duties e.g. Flashlights, notebooks, pens etc.
