Physical Security Services

The Vendor is required to provide to procure professional security guard services for designated public transit facilities.
- Services will include scheduled guard staffing, visible interior and exterior patrols, access control, visitor management, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident response, daily activity reporting, and coordination with agency personnel and emergency responders.
- One security guard will be stationed in the main lobby of the Administrative Offices & Pass Sales Center, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven days per week (24/7).
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment for the entire facility and office area during assigned hours. Provide a highly visible security presence with a customer service driven philosophy to agency employees, visitors, contractors, and the general public.
- The security guard may be required to monitor and answer a multi-line phone system.
- Ensure that police and/or emergency services and agency Risk Assessment Management are immediately notified if a threat situation develops at the facility.
- Assist in maintaining orderly customer traffic flow during peak business hours.
- Security guards must sign/clock in and contact the Security Supervisor upon their arrival at the beginning of each work shift.
- Provide visitor management, sign in visitors, and call the appropriate party to alert them of the visitor’s arrival.
- Guards must always maintain a clean and neat appearance (contractor-issued uniform).
- Perform any other associated loss prevention and security, or customer service related duties as required. This may include answering telephones, forwarding calls, and taking messages.
- Perform daily inspections of all areas, including the lower level, to ensure that safe and secure conditions are maintained. The frequency of the patrols and the areas covered within the patrol are subject to change by the Department at any time through a contract modification.
