The Vendor is required to provide security service to furnish unarmed security guard services and scheduled perimeter patrols for the sierra terrace market property located.
- Scheduled perimeter patrols
• Perform five (5) perimeter patrols each day during the following time windows:
• 6:00 am – 7:00 am
• 9:30 am – 10:30 am
• 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
• 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
• 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
• Each patrol shall include a complete inspection of the property.
• Documentation shall include:
• Date
• Time of arrival
• Time patrol completed
• Officer name
• Observations
• Corrective actions taken
• Photographs of any damage or criminal activity when practical
- Required services
• Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the assigned shift.
• Patrol the property on foot and observe for suspicious or criminal activity.
• Monitor for trespassing, loitering, vandalism, theft, illegal dumping, drug activity, unauthorized camping, and other prohibited activities.
• Deter criminal activity through active presence and professional engagement.
• Respond promptly to disturbances and security concerns.
• Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques whenever appropriate.
• Contact law enforcement, fire department, ems, or other emergency responders when necessary.
• Report emergencies immediately to housing's designated representative.
• Inspect all common areas, laundry facilities, community areas, parking areas, walkways, stairwells, and landscaped areas.
• Check vacant units for evidence of forced entry, vandalism, unauthorized occupancy, or safety hazards.
• Report maintenance concerns presenting immediate health or safety risks.
• Secure gates, doors, or common areas if found unsecured and notify housing.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary.
