Curb Ambassador and Security Personnel Services

The vendors to provide curb ambassador and unarmed security support personnel services at airport.
- Unarmed uniformed security personnel for vehicle traffic control at the airport’s terminal curb and commercial vehicle pick-up/drop-off locations. Personnel will also conduct vehicle and personnel inspections at secured area access points in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulatory guidelines.
- Curbside Security Guard Duties:
• Walking patrol of the terminal curb and commercial lane.
• Provide customer service information.
• Monitor vehicles approaching curb and ensure drivers do not leave vehicles unattended. Advise that unattended vehicles are not permitted on the curb, and offer alternatives such as parking in Cell Phone or Short-Term Lot.
• Monitor taxi cabs, shuttles, buses, rideshare, and peer-to-peer vehicles to ensure they’re adhering to proper pick-up and dropoff locations.
- Scope may include, but is not limited to:
• Verification of airport-issued identification badges and credentials for employees, vendors, and authorized personnel
• Monitoring of access points to ensure only properly badged individuals enter restricted or controlled areas
• Conducting visual inspections of personal belongings, vehicles, or equipment entering designated areas, when directed by Airport Operations or Law Enforcement
• Supporting random or targeted screening protocols as directed by the Airport
• Reporting suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, or security concerns in accordance with Airport and TSA guidelines
• Screening of aviation workers entering secured areas to include search of aviation worker’s person, outer coats and garments, and accessible property. Screening methods must be capable of detecting unauthorized weapons, explosives, and incendiaries.
