Department has 48 sworn officers and currently operates 19 in-car video systems. Its standard vehicle configuration uses a forward-facing camera and an interior infrared-capable prisoner-compartment camera. A small number of vehicles also have an exterior rear-facing camera. The Department intends to replace the existing camera environment with a current, integrated system and move digital evidence to vendor-hosted cloud storage.
