In-Car Video, Body-Worn Cameras, and Cloud Digital Evidence Management

Department has 48 sworn officers and currently operates 19 in-car video systems. Its standard vehicle configuration uses a forward-facing camera and an interior infrared-capable prisoner-compartment camera. A small number of vehicles also have an exterior rear-facing camera. The Department intends to replace the existing camera environment with a current, integrated system and move digital evidence to vendor-hosted cloud storage.
- Provide recording hardware, accessories, installation, configuration, cloud-hosted digital evidence management, legacy evidence migration, training, warranty service, technical support, and related professional services.
- Project Objectives
• Replace 19 in-car systems with reliable front and prisoner-compartment recording.
• Equip all 48 sworn officers and maintain at least two ready spare body-worn cameras.
• Provide secure cloud evidence storage and management for a five-year base term.
• Migrate existing video and associated metadata without breaking evidentiary integrity or operational access.
• Reduce manual evidence handling through secure upload, categorization, retention, search, sharing, audit, and redaction workflows.
• Provide transparent five-year pricing with no undisclosed storage, upload, retrieval, support, or licensing charges.
