VMS shall support advanced analytics and
artificial intelligence (AI)-driven capabilities, including but not limited to:
• Facial Recognition – The ability to identify and match individuals against defined watchlists or databases in real time or through recorded footage review.
• Zone Monitoring – The ability to define and monitor designated areas within a camera's field of view, generating alerts upon unauthorized access or occupancy.
• Object and Intrusion Detection – Automated detection of unauthorized objects or individuals entering restricted or defined areas, with configurable alert thresholds.
• Smart Forensic Search – The ability to rapidly search recorded video footage using defined criteria such as appearance, object type, color, or movement patterns, significantly reducing
investigation time.
• Behavior Analysis and Anomaly Detection – AI-driven identification of unusual or suspicious patterns of movement or behavior that deviate from established baselines, enabling
proactive threat assessment.
• Alerting and Notification Requirements - The proposed VMS shall provide real-time event management, alerting, and notification capabilities for all supported analytics, camera events,
system events, and user-defined conditions. The system shall be capable of generating alerts based on, but not limited to, facial recognition matches, watchlist detections, zone violations,
intrusion events, object detection, loitering, behavior analysis, camera tampering, camera offline conditions, recording failures, storage capacity thresholds, and other configurable
system events.
• Integration - Where possible, with existing RRISD systems such as 911inform, Avaya phone system, Genetec access control and Motorola radios.
