The Vendor is required to provide case management, wraparound supportive services, coaching and mentorship support for individuals participating in workforce development programs aimed at supporting inroads to jobs and programs for the communities surrounding Aggie Square.
- A key element of this programming is a built-in support system from an organization or organizations (“Contractor”) that carry out case management, wraparound service supports and career coach activities, such as career mentorship.
- Outreach & Recruitment
• Recruitment of city residents aged 18 years and older to participate in City-supported Aggie Square programming.
- Enrollment & Onboarding
• Implement an intake process to get to know the participants and create a participant-centered individual service plan: Assess participants for wrap-around service needs.
• Provide support for participants to connect to future employment and training programming including resume building, coaching, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Program Organizer Relationships
• Work with program organizers to identify participants and recruiting channels that fit programming
• Communicate with program organizers to identify participants that may be struggling in programming to identify wraparound service, coaching, or additional training needs.
- Supportive Services/Barrier Removal Support
• Work with participants to determine and address any barrier removal needs for them to succeed in programming. These could entail tutoring, academic enrichment or additional training, gas cards or transit passes, food resources, childcare resources, job access costs, access to technology, or other temporary or short term barriers.
• Cover training program costs for participants.
- Job Coaching/Mentorship
• Check-in with participants on a regular interval by phone, email, or in-person and facilitate group check-in.
• Ensure that participants are receiving any needed retention assistance or services; provide guidance by assessing challenges and strengths, study skills recommendations, planning for educational goals and career, resource information and referrals.
- Post Graduate Activities
• Identify continued engagement avenues for program participant’s further training or learning, supplemental skill building, or employment opportunities.
