The Vendor is required to provide case management services must be designed to support the participant as the participant progresses through an employment and training (E&T) program.
- These functions may include, but are not limited to:
• Conducting participant intake, assessment, and employability evaluations.
• Developing individualized employment or training plans which incorporate approved supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP) E&T employment components:
• Supervised job search
• Job search training
• Job retention
• Work experience
• Education
• Vocational training
• Coordinating referrals to approved E&T components and supportive services.
• Ongoing case management, progress monitoring, and barrier resolution.
• Providing allowable supportive services to include:
• Clothing that is suitable for job interviews
• Licensing and bonding fees
• Uniforms, work shoes and required work tools, and equipment
• Medical services: TB testing, eye exams, and vision correction, routine dental cleaning
• Requirements for educational components: personal safety items required to complete training/ educational coursework, books, and course registration fees
• Union dues necessary for employment
• Housing assistance including rent and utilities
• Technology: broadband/internet access, laptops and tablets for education, vocational training, and job retention components
• Driver’s license restoration
• Delivering job retention services for participants who secure employment.
• Ensuring accurate, timely documentation and data entry in required systems.
• Supporting compliance with federal SNAP E&T regulations and performance measures.
