The vendor is required to provide are court reporting services for office of inspector general.
- Provide one or more full-service registered court reporting firms to provide certified court reporters, videography services, and litigation support services in connection with preparing and presenting cases for administrative proceedings and litigation.
- Such services include, but are not limited to, attending, recording, and transcribing testimony given at depositions, hearings, or other proceedings; making audiovisual recordings of depositions or other proceedings; synchronizing written transcripts to video recordings and preparing video clips; serving subpoenas; and retrieving records by depositions on written questions, subpoenas, or affidavit.
- Court reporting services
• Provide certified court reporters who are trained and compliant with all health information health insurance portability and accountability act (“HIPAA”) rules and regulations to attend and transcribe depositions, examinations, hearings, and other legal proceedings;
• Provide certified bound and indexed transcripts and exhibits;
• Provide condensed transcripts with a keyword index;
• Provide electronic transcripts;
• Produce transcripts in .pdf, ascii, .ptx, or other format compatible with applications including, but not limited to trial director, sanction, exhibit view, relativity, visionary, or other specified litigation support technology;
• Provide electronic exhibits;
• Provide electronic transcripts in which hyperlinks to exhibits are embedded;
• Provide a transcription of proceedings from a cassette, cd, DVD, USB, or other specified electronic audio or video format;
• Provide real-time court reporting services;
• Provide rough ASCII transcripts (clean copy within 24 hours of proceeding).
- Videography services
• Provide videographers to attend and make audiovisual recordings of depositions or other proceedings;
• Produce video recordings in mpeg, mp4, or other format compatible with applications including, but not limited to, trial director, sanction, exhibit view, relativity, or other specified litigation support technology;
• Synchronize video recordings to written transcripts;
• Prepare clips (excerpts) from video depositions.
- Subpoena services
• Prepare and serve deposition notices and subpoenas;
• Prepare and serve hearing subpoenas.
- Record retrieval services
• Serve notices of deposition on written questions, subpoenas for records, and subpoenas duces tecum;
• Obtain records by depositions on written questions, subpoenas for records, subpoenas duces tecum, and HIPAA compliant authorizations;
• Copy, bind, and index documents retrieved by depositions on written questions, subpoenas for records, subpoenas duces tecum, and HIPAA compliant authorizations;
• Provide records in electronic format and hard copy, if requested.
- Ancillary services
• Preparing demonstrative exhibits and multi-media presentations for use during hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings;
• Coordinating and handling technical equipment needs during hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings; and
• Operating software and audio/visual equipment to display exhibits, evidence, documents, graphics, or videos during hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
