The Vendor is required to provide the court reporting and transcription services.
- Record and transcribe regular and emergency meetings, hearings, public hearings, workshops for rulemakings, workshops, depositions, and other proceedings conducted by the commission for which the services of a court reporter are requested by the presiding officer, Commission Counsel, a designee of the commission counsel, or any party.
- These proceedings may be conducted in-person or by telephone or video conference.
- The presiding officer will determine how the proceeding will take place.
- Transcribe proceedings recorded on tape that the reporter was not directed to report and for which transcription service is requested by the presiding officer, commission counsel, a designee of the commission counsel, or any party, with the understanding that the reporter cannot certify the verbatim correctness of the transcript.
- The original transcript to be filed with the Commission’s filing clerk 10 days post ½ day proceedings (4 hours or less) and 14 days post full day proceedings (over 4 hours).
- Provide complete transcripts that accurately reflect the complete verbatim recording of the proceeding.
- Where a reporter error appears in the transcript, the reporter must correct the error only at the direction of the presiding officer.
