Court Reporting Services

The Vendor is required to provide to enter into a service agreement with one or multiple firm(s) that have the experience, capability, sufficient personnel, and financial ability to perform the court reporting services needed by the law department.  
- These services must be performed in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
- Provide the following services as requested and directed by the agency:
•    Stenographic and—if available from the Contractor as an option—digital reporting services, including a high level of proficiency in medical stenography, with audio recording of all proceedings.
•    Transcription services, including the following:
o    One paper copy of each transcript in standard format.
o    One paper copy of a condensed version of each transcript that displays four pages on one 8.5”x11” sheet and that includes an index.
o    One electronic copy of each transcript, via e-mail and/or on a disk or flash drive, in a Microsoft Word format and that includes key word indexing.
•    Video conferencing services for depositions, including the conference room and necessary equipment.
•    Video recording, editing, and text/video integration.
•    Transcription of such audio files as provided by the agency.
•    Shipping and delivery.
- Recognizes the benefits of digital court reporting as an alternative to traditional stenography and wishes to allow for the inclusion of digital reporting as an optional, not required, service.
- The capability to provide stenographic and—if available from the Contractor—digital services for proceedings that are outside of the service area of this contract, defined as a 50-mile radius in relation to the agency central offices.
- The timeframe in which each transcript is needed, as defined by
•    Immediate service, or production of a transcript the same day as the request.
•    Overnight service, or production of a transcript within 24 hours of the request.
•    Two-day service, or production of a transcript within 2 business days of the request.
•    Expedited service, or production of a transcript within 5 business days of the request.
•    Regular service, or production of a transcript within 10 business days of the request.
