Court Reporting Services

The Vendor is required to provide for Court Reporter Services.
- Must use appropriate equipment to record the evidence and representations from which accurate verbatim transcripts of the proceedings can be created, provided there is the need. At any given time during a hearing, a “read-back” service with regard to anything said as part of the official record, may be required.
- Must provide all equipment required to assist in the production of transcripts.
- Must provide, at any given time during the hearings, a ‘read-back’ service with regard to anything said as part of the official record.
- The recording of the hearings, with the virtual presence of a court reporter as defined herein, is permitted under this Contract, only under special circumstances.
- The format and style of clause of all transcripts must be as prescribed as below:
• Each page must be 21.5 cm (8.5 inches) by 27.8 cm (11 inches) and left margins – 1½ inch; top, bottom and right margins – 1 inch.
• Each transcript page must consist of not less than 25 typed lines with an average of 200 words; (100% optimized, Microsoft Word - actual word count). Font used in transcripts must be “Courier,”12 point.
• Electronic copies of transcripts must be provided in Microsoft Word and PDF format in the language of the hearing.
• An index and title page must be placed at the front of each day of transcript.
• Transcripts must be certified and signed by the attending reporter.
- Regular Copy - Includes: one (1) original transcript electronic copy with an index and title page in WordPerfect and PDF format. The per page rate is based upon the number of original transcript pages produced. Transcripts must be delivered within (8) working days after the conclusion of the hearing to the address specified in the Task Authorization, unless specified otherwise by the Project Authority.
- Proceedings will be conducted in both open court (open to the public) and/or in-camera sessions.
