Reporting and Education Services

The Vendor is required to provide reporting and education services for include:
• Monthly on-site prison rape elimination act (PREA)-reporting education to juveniles detained at the center.
• Days and times of onsite visits shall be approved or as mutually agreed upon.
• External act reporting services for all detained juveniles, during waking hours, who wish to make an external report of sexual abuse or harassment at center.
• Disclose to each caller the limits of confidentiality for each act reporting call.
• Agree to accept non-privileged (i.e., reportable) act reports regardless of whether the resident reporter discloses their name or is anonymous.
• Accept third-party act reports from other individuals who are acting on behalf of a current or previous resident of the facility.
• Follow up the next day for act report messages left after hours by third-party reporters.
• Act report regarding county juvenile justice center and the county’s facility, the provider or professional will immediately contact the authorized juvenile justice center’s administration and provide any information provided by the resident or third-party reporter.
• Contact number(s) that will be programmed into county juvenile justice center‘s resident communications platform.
• Agree to accept act reports by resident or third-party reporters via the country postal service, and to follow the reporting process to the county’s facility as outlined in #4 above.
• Abide by all policies, procedures, and regulations provided by the juvenile justice center’s communications platform vendor.
• Notify the authorized facility contacts should it receive off-topic or prank calls from the resident or third-party callers.
• Annual act training for the employees of county juvenile justice center.
• The county reserves the right to add additional services and requirements on an as-needed basis.
