Pavement Condition Data Collection Services

The Vendor is required to provide automated pavement condition data collection services for the City’s maintained roadway network.
- Provide pavement condition data collection, processing, and delivery services for the City’s maintained roadway network, including arterial, collector, and local streets.
- Provide a comprehensive, consistent, and repeatable assessment of pavement surface conditions across the City’s roadway system. The resulting dataset will support the City’s pavement management and asset management efforts by providing current condition information suitable for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
- The Consultant shall perform automated pavement condition data collection using properly calibrated equipment capable of measuring pavement surface characteristics including roughness, rutting, cracking, and related distresses.
- The Consultant shall also perform required quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), process and reduce collected data, calculate PCI values, and deliver a complete dataset
- Transportation infrastructure using a data-driven asset management approach focused on lifecycle planning, proactive maintenance, and the efficient allocation of public resources. Pavement condition data collected through this project serves as a critical input for evaluating current network condition, forecasting deterioration, and supporting informed decision-making.
- The City utilizes a GIS-based asset management system to integrate pavement condition data with roadway inventory and segmentation. Data collected under this contract will be incorporated into the City’s GIS environment and used to update condition records at the roadway segment level.
- This integrated dataset supports network-level condition monitoring, development of preservation and rehabilitation strategies, capital improvement program (CIP) planning, and performance reporting.
