The vendor is required to provide document and electronic media destruction services off-site in accordance with the provisions and requirements of any applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations pertaining to destruction of personal information records.
- Console quantity and size:
• 3 – 65-gallon size bins
• 30 – 32-gallon size console
- Shredding requirements:
• Contractor shall be able to shred, incinerate, disintegrate, or otherwise destroy any type of paper items address-o-graph cards, microfilm, microfiche, e-rays, computer disks, computer tape, CDS, VHS tapes, audiocassettes, and other storage media.
• Provide secure container meaning a bin, console, or other enclosed box used to temporarily store confidential documents that has a lock and is tamper-proof to ensure safekeeping of sensitive information.
• The contractor to furnish all materials, labor, vehicles, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services required herein.
• Contractor shall be able to pick up electronic media.
• All electronic media containing any information shall be disintegrated to a point of an un-reconstruct able format.
• Clearing data or deleting files from electronic media shall not be acceptable.
• After disintegration, contractor to comply with all state, federal, security, privacy, environmental, and hazardous waste laws and shall not charge for mixed loads of electronic media pickup that are not segregated.
• Provide documentation of media destruction.
• Acceptable uses of document shredding are crosscut shredding, particle-cut shredding, pierce and tear shredding.
• After shredding all materials are to be incinerated or maybe taken to a recycling facility.
• Provide breach response service and business credential monitoring.
