The vendor is required to provide for the on-site collection, destruction, and shredding of paper, media, security id badges, etc., containing confidential or personal information.
- Paper records must be shredded using a cross-cut shredder that reduces paper to a size no wider than 3/8 inches.
- It is preferred that the finished product be taken to a qualified facility for recycling.
- The successful bidder shall perform these services in an efficient workmanlike manner consistent with the highest standards for the type of service being performed.
- The successful bidder shall not inspect, view, peruse or examine any confidential material or documents designated for shredding or disposal by the requesting department and division.
- Shredding schedule
• Routine service shall be provided on a weekly, monthly or bi-monthly set schedule per the requesting department.
• Provided to each department at time of contract. each department will be provided a contact and phone number for pick-up.
• The successful bidder shall respond to the request for service within twenty-four (24) hours of initial call.
