- Frequency of Service
• Provide shredding services on a scheduled basis. The frequency of service will be determined in consultation with agency, with possible options including weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service.
- On-Site and Off-Site Shredding
• Options for both on-site shredding, where the vendor performs shredding at the agency facility, and off-site shredding, where documents are transported securely to the vendor’s location for shredding, should be available.
- Documentation of Services
• Provide a Certificate of Destruction for each shredding service performed for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
• Documentation must include details such as the date of service, quantity of documents shredded, and a description of the shredding method used.
