Document Shredding and Garment Destruction Services

The vendor is required to provide document shredding and garment destruction services for include:
1. Document destruction service
•    The service provider shall provide security locking containers and consoles of various sizes placed throughout each location. 
•    The service provider shall provide additional secure, locked containers as requested by agency. 
•    All containers and consoles shall be equipped with attached lid and locking devices. 
•    Service provider shall supply agency representative with a key for locking all containers and consoles. 
•    Containers and consoles must have either a top slot or side slot near the top to prevent theft. 
•    Containers and consoles shall be of uniform color to indicate the container is only for deposit of confidential documents for destruction. 
•    The service provider shall be responsible for maintaining containers in good working order, cleaning containers as necessary and providing replacement and additional containers as may be requested during the term of the contract. 
•    Documents shall be destroyed on-site by crosscut and pierce and tear (confetti) shredding. 
•    All shredded documents shall be recycled in the county. 
•    All materials will be shredded and destroyed before being recycled.
2. Garment destruction services
•    The service provider shall provide security locking containers and consoles. 
•    The service provider shall provide additional secure, locked containers as requested by agency. 
•    All containers and consoles shall be equipped with attached lid and locking devices. 
•    Service provider shall supply agency representative with a key for locking all containers and consoles. 
•    Containers and consoles must have either a top slot or side slot near the top to prevent theft. 
•    The service provider shall be responsible for maintaining containers in good working order, cleaning containers as necessary and providing replacement and additional containers as may be requested during the term of the contract. 
•    All shredded garments shall be recycled in the county. 
•    All materials will be shredded and destroyed before being recycled.
