The Vendor is required to provide for monthly confidential document shredding and public shredding events.
- Monthly confidential document shredding
• Monthly confidential shredding includes mixed paper documents containing personal, financial, or proprietary data, such as bank statements, employee records, customer information, and business plans which are shredded in a safe and secure manner by cutting them into small, unreadable pieces to prevent unauthorized access.
• Confidential shredding containers shall be a minimum of 19 1/4" w x 17" deep x 34 1/2" height
• Oversize confidential shredding containers size shall be a minimum of 96 gallons.
• Confidential shredding containers and oversize confidential shredding containers shall be collected on the first Wednesday of every month, not including holidays as listed in this solicitation between the hours of 9am - 3pm.
• This shall be an open-ended contract, awarded with a minimum of zero (0) and a maximum of eight (8) months per 2026 and a minimum of zero (0) and a maximum of twelve (12) months per 2027.
- Collection of banker boxes
• Banker boxes are standard size, 15" x 12" x 10" (length, width, height) and each has a capacity of 1 cubic foot.
• Collection of banker boxes shall be on an as-needed basis.
• A representative from town hall shall schedule the pick-up no later than one week prior to the scheduled monthly pick-up as designated
• Collection of banker boxes shall occur on the first Wednesday of every month in conjunction with monthly confidential document shredding.
• This shall be an open-ended contract, awarded with a minimum of zero (0) and a maximum of 100 boxes per contract year.
- Shredding events
• Shredding events shall be rain or shine, open to the residents from 8am - 1pm.
• Shall arrive no later than 7:45am on the day of the event.
• Provide three trucks for a minimum of six (6) hours or until all three trucks are full.
• This shall be an open-ended contract, with a minimum of zero (0) and a maximum of one (1) event per 2026 and a minimum of zero (0) and a maximum of two (2) events per 2027.
• Residents shall bring their confidential shredding in boxes or reusable containers that, once emptied, shall be returned to the applicable resident.
