The Vendor is required to provide confidential document destruction and recycling services for the public or private sector.
- Responsible for the pick-up, transportation, destruction, and recycling of confidential paper documents on a scheduled or as needed basis as requested by designated County staff.
- Provide on-site, and non-witnessed destruction services off-site at their secured/locked Association services) certified facility.
- Shall have industrial shredding equipment capable of shredding paper, plastic clips, metal clips, staples, and other metal fasteners.
- Shall utilize shredding equipment that performs crosscut or confetti shredding.
- All documents must be shredded not more than ¼” and/or fully rendered illegible when process is completed.
- shall destroy the documents completely to ensure the information cannot be recognized or reconstructed.
- Documents to be shredded/destroyed and recycled shall be destroyed on-site or transported directly to the contractor’s secured/locked facility by the contractor, and if applicable, weighed immediately upon arrival, on State certified weigh scales, and shredded on the same day of pick-up.
