The vendor is required to provide will encourage council
regional schools for middle school through college students.
- Recruit schools into youth traffic safety peer-to-peer
programming:
- Vendor will contact teachers/advisors at council regional schools
in-person at relevant conferences and events, or via email/telephone and
encourage re-enrollment each school year.
- Enroll a minimum of 30 schools in teen driver education
in the region per school year.
• Develop a public engagement plan.
• Develop task and timeline chart that documents the progress of
work.
• Develop a monthly task progress report documenting progress of
the program that includes description of work performed, description of work
yet to be performed, percent of task expended, activities, problems and issues
encountered, and documentation supporting delivery of required program
deliverables.
• Provide monthly task progress report documenting progress of the
program including school name, student population and county location.
- Support implementation of youth traffic safety
peer-to-peer programs
- Provide training, guidance, and support for enrolled schools
throughout the school year as they implement the peer-to-peer program and
conduct youth traffic safety outreach on their campuses.
- Support a minimum of 10 school outreach events and
activities per school year.
• Provide public outreach meeting location, dates,
schools (or other entities), campaign materials, presentations, meeting
results.
• Develop a monthly task progress report documenting
progress of the program that includes description of work performed,
description of work yet to be performed, percent of task expended, activities,
problems and issues encountered, and documentation supporting delivery of
required program deliverables.
- Youth transportation safety education and outreach:
- Vendors will participate in council regional community
coalition meetings, events, and outreach to share about youth transportation
safety also support a smartphone application that rewards young drivers for
driving distraction-free.
- In addition, the team will analyze some connected
vehicle data and app data in the council region to identify trends related to
youth transportation safety.
- participate in a minimum of 20 community events,
coalition meetings, or conferences in the region.
• Provide monthly task progress report documenting
progress of the program including description of work, copies of materials
developed for or used by the program such as presentations, exhibits,
brochures, handouts, flyers, and advertisements.
• Provide post meeting documentation and reporting of
public meetings, location, date, advertising, attendance, sponsors, speakers,
and exhibitors, meeting minutes, issues encountered.
• Identify type and quantity of materials/supplies
distributed.
• Provide a list of number of app users by school name in
the region.

- Monthly progress reports
- Contractor will meet with council staff monthly to
submit monthly progress reports; this report must outline task specific work
accomplished during the previous work period or since the last progress report
for the contractor's work under this contract; reports will include, but not be
limited to:
• A brief description of work accomplished for each task.
• The percentage of completion of the overall work
project and each task.
• Changes in the estimated value (budget) of each work
task
• Challenges or delays encountered or anticipated.
• Anticipated work activities for the next work period.
