The Vendor is required to provide to design and implement engaging and dynamic after school clubs and activities in a safe and secure environment for students from grades transitional kindergarten to eight.
- These programs will need to meet the compliance guidelines for the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (“ELO-P”).
- These programs are designed to provide literacy support, academic enrichment, safe and constructive alternatives for students during no instructional hours, and equitable access to high-quality learning opportunities at no cost to families.
- Programs are expected to expand upon learning opportunities offered during the school day through homework assistance and homework adjacent activities that are provided and aligned with AVID-based strategies, when possible, essential grade-level skills focused on standards, data-driven instruction, enrichment, physical activity, student voice and choice, and comprehensive arts and STEM programming. Additionally, Social Emotional Learning, Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS), restorative practices, and trauma-informed approaches shall be embedded across all activities.
