The Vendor is required to provide three Tescan scanning electron microscopes (SEM) needing yearly maintenance and repair services to maintain the instruments in working order for agency daily operations.
- During the service visit, the Contractor will undertake:
• Repairs and adjustments arising from normal usage of the system;
• A compliance review of the system; iii)
• Other repairs, adjustments, cleanings and/or alignments as deemed reasonably necessary for the proper functioning, long-term performance, and reliability of the system.
- Provide technical support, via telephone, email, or internet, for repair and maintenance of the system during normal agency business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Central Standard Time.
- Support will include replies to questions about general operation, use and service issues that can be diagnosed and/or resolved via remote support.
- After receiving a call for service, contractor must have a technician on-site within the specified time requirements for the following types of service calls:
• Service calls during regular work hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.): within 24 hours of notification.
• Service calls outside regular hours: within 48 hours of notification.
• Emergency service calls during regular work hour (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.): response time to emergency call-backs during regular business hours will be within 24 hours.
• Agency will identify emergency calls at time of notification.
• Emergency service calls outside regular hours: within 48 hours of notification.
• An emergency call will be identified as any conditions that can potentially impact the health, safety and welfare of agency employees and the public.
• Agency will identify emergency calls at time of notification.
