The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) proposes to enter into a contract with Tecan U.S., in Morrisville, NC, on a basis of other than full and open competition. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. NMRC's BDRD Microbiology and Immunology Department has a need for the purchase of two (2) plate readers that must be capable of using three different wavelngths: using absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence and Shaking/Heating capability. The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items.
