The Vendor is required to provide on-site fire protection staff to perform preventative maintenance (pm), testing, and repair/remediation of deficiencies to water-based fire suppression systems including, but not limited to: sprinklers, standpipe, hoses, hydrants, water supplies, fire service water mains, back flow preventers, fire pumps, fire pump motor controllers, water storage tanks, valves that control system flow, and all appurtenances.
- Proper interval water-based fire protection testing shall be in accordance with act testing requirements regarding fire alarm signaling code, tamper and flow switches.
- The digital fire alarm testing schedule, when possible, typically during the evenings and weekends, access and weather dependent.
- Provide a minimum of two full-time, on-site sprinkler fitters for the afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- One of these sprinkler fitters shall be a foreman.
- Provide a minimum of one full-time, on-site Fire Systems Coordinator (FSC) who can also function as sprinkler fitter when needed.
- Provide two inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) staffers, one of these staffers is the on-site Foreman during the afternoon shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
