The Vendor is required to provide end-to-end management of food truck operations, including but not limited to:
• Recruitment, vetting, and onboarding of qualified food truck vendors approved by the county;
• Food truck scheduling and calendar management per negotiated and awarded schedule;
• Deployment of food trucks to the county administrative headquarters building per the approved schedule;
• Compliance monitoring and enforcement;
• Customer service support.
- Requirements
• Hold valid local and state permits, licenses, and health department approvals;
• Have at least one person in the food truck at all times that has a valid food manager’s permit;
• Permits must be current and onsite in the trucks when on county property;
• Maintain required insurance coverage outlined herein naming the county as additional insured;
• Comply with fire, safety, and accessibility requirements;
• Offer a variety of cuisines and accommodate dietary needs when possible (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free);
• Meet cleanliness, appearance, and customer service standards as would be expected from professional food truck purveyors;
• Comply with scheduling and coordination to include:
o Develop and maintain a rotating schedule to ensure variety and rotation of approved food trucks;
o Prevent over-scheduling or conflicts among vendors;
o Provide the county with advance schedules (monthly or quarterly);
o Coordinate arrivals, setup, service, and departure times;
o Manage cancellations and substitutions with minimal disruption.
• Online app shall be available for employees to place orders electronically with each food truck;
• Provide a clear communication channel for county staff and customers;
• Promote schedules through agreed-upon methods (email, website, signage, or internal platforms);
• Respond to inquiries, issues, or complaints in a timely manner;
• Food trucks shall offer point of sale payment mechanism and accept both cash and card payments.
