The Vendor is required to provide library staff to develop a wayfinding master plan to inform wayfinding and direction signage design and implementation across each of the library’s locations.
- Sign contractor shall furnish at own cost all labor, tools, materials, expendable equipment, and transportation services required to perform and complete the work in the best possible and most expeditious manner, and in accordance with sign program bid documents.
- Sign contractor shall employ only competent foremen and experienced craftsmen and installers, and shall discharge immediately, whenever required to do so by owner, any person considered by owner as incompetent or disposed to be disorderly; and shall not employ said person again on the project.
- Sign contractor shall agree to pay all claims for labor performed and materials furnished in completing the contract.
- Sign quantities identified in sign program bid documents are preliminary, therefore sign contractor is responsible for final quantities of all sign types by cross-referencing sign location plans with sign schedule database document.
- Should sign contractor find discrepancies in, or omissions from, sign program bid documents, they should at once notify owner in writing, who in turn, will issue instructions in the form fabrication and installation of all work is to be in accordance with the provisions of the sign program bid documents, in workman-like manner and in keeping with industry standards.
- Sign installation shall be done under the supervision of authorized agents of sign contractor who shall install all items required by plans and specifications and check all items shown on these drawings for correct and accurate placement.
- Sign Contractor to deliver components to site in manufacturer’s unopened containers, clearly indicating manufacturer’s name, brand, type, style, size, color, texture, and other identifying information.
- At completion of the installation, Sign Contractor shall clean all signs with appropriate cleaning agents prior to final inspection and acceptance.
- Grease, fingerprints, smudges, adhesive, etc.
- Remaining on signs or components will not be acceptable.
- Protect sign units from damage until acceptance by Owner.
