The vendor is required to provide LED road signage and installation services for include:
a. Freestanding sign with EMC
1. Sign overview
• Structure type: new double-sided, freestanding sign with decorative monument-style design
• Main features:
o Top id panel: routed lettering with LED backlighting
o Electronic message center (EMC): mounted below id panel
2. EMC sign specifications
• Brand: EMC brand as specified]
• Screen size: 5' height x 9' width
• Cabinet size: 5'5" height x 9'3" width
• Cooling system: front-vented for optimal thermal management
• Control system: OPX ignite (cloud-based)
o Remote content programming
o Remote diagnostics capability
3. LED-illuminated monument sign and decorative structure
• Fabrication: custom-built using aluminum sheet metal and extrusions
• Finish: textured finish using automotive-grade sign paint
• Verbiage and logo:
o "SWFL enterprise center" and logo routed out with acrylic backing
o LED-illuminated from within
• Address numbers:
o ½" dimensional acrylic
o Stud-mounted and fastened with nuts and bolts for enhanced durability
4. Electrical requirements
• Power supply: 120v / 20a
• Connection: hookup to existing electrical service at the sign location
5. Installation requirements
• Sign installation:
o Fabricate and weld brackets for new signage to existing sign poles
o Install new sign structure using crane
• pole and foundation:
o Excavate and install new sign pole foundation per certified structural engineer’s specifications (if required by zoning)
o Deliver and set new sign pole in concrete foundation
o Prep pole with metal-etching primer and cap to prevent internal oxidation
o Grade foundation to prevent water pooling
• Foundation type: pier or block foundation.
