Digital Radar Speed Signs Services

The vendor is required to provide the digital radar signs have shown to be effective at alerting motorists to speed and slowing traffic down in a specific area.
- Department wishes to add an additional 5 radar speed signs to be deployed in various areas of the city.
- Equipment
• The sign must conform to the manual on uniform traffic control devices.
• The sign shall be solar powered.
• The sign must have at least a 13” LED display.
• The sign must have LED technology.
• The sign must have a radar unit capable of displaying speed.
• The sign must provide a message alert to speeding motorists of “speed”, “slow down”, “too fast” or similar function.
• The sign must provide an alert to motorists that exceed the posted speed limit by either camera flash, red and blue strobe lights, or similar function. 
• The sign shall have a display that is graffiti, vandalism, and shatter resistant. 
• The sign shall have a maximum speed cut off
• The sign must include all mounting hardware and brackets.
• The sign must include a backup battery power supply. 
• Bids shall include a warranty package.
• Bids must include price to package and deliver trailer to city.
