Wayfinding Signage Services

The vendor is required to provide wayfinding signage services to fabricate gateway (1) and wayfinding signs (3) to provide public travelers with an easy way to identify important destinations on signs that are recognizable, aesthetically pleasing, and representative of the town’s identity.
- General requirements
•    Product data: for each type of product.
•    Shop drawings: for signage.
o    Include fabrication and installation details and attachments to other work.
o    Show sign mounting heights, locations of supplementary supports to be provided by other installers, and accessories.
o    Show message list, typestyles, graphic elements, and layout for each sign at least half size.
o    Show locations of electrical service connections.
o    Include diagrams for power, signal, and control wiring
•    Samples for initial selection: for each type of sign assembly, exposed component, and exposed finish.
o    Include representative samples of available typestyles and graphic symbols.
•    Samples for verification: for each type of sign assembly, showing all components and with the required finish(es), in manufacturer's standard size unless otherwise indicated and as follows:
o    Panel: not less than 12 inches (300 mm) square, including corner.
•    Product schedule: for post-and-panel and pylon signs. use same designations indicated on Drawings or specified.
•    Delegated-design submittal:
o    Include structural analysis calculations for signs indicated to comply with design loads; signed and sealed by the qualified professional engineer responsible for their preparation.
