The vendor is required to provide signage inventory services for recent developments have created a need to reassess and standardize campus signage:
• Two new buildings have been constructed (m100 and m200).
• Two main campus buildings are being renovated (m300r and m500, first floor)
• Significant departmental relocations have taken place.
• One building has been demolished, with another (m100a) scheduled for demolition after renovations and moves are completed.
1. Signage inventory
• Conduct a comprehensive audit of all existing signage at:
o Main campus (excluding m100 and m200).
o Other main campus buildings include: m300r, m300a-b, m400, m500, m600, m700
o Advanced manufacturing technology training center (AMTTC)
• Document each sign with:
o Location (building, floor, room number or outdoor location)
o Sign type (interior office, directional, wayfinding, exterior, parking, regulatory, etc.)
o Material, size and mounting method
o Condition assessment (good, fair, poor, needs replacement)
o Photograph of each sign
• Provide a detailed inventory report in a searchable format (excel or similar).
2. Standardization and design recommendations
• Review existing signage standards and match them to new building signage styles.
• Recommend design specifications for each signage category (interior, exterior, ADA-compliant, digital, etc.).
• Ensure recommendations meet ADA and applicable building code requirements.
