The vendor required to provide professional editing services to ensure that a high-quality consolidated annual report is timely published.
- Editors and personnel to review references and formatting and will remotely perform some or all of the following services:
• Edit approximately 85 ascent annual report sections (collectively hereinafter, report).
• This editing includes the following tasks:
o Grammar, spelling, and punctuation correction.
o Natural syntax and flow for smooth, easy reading.
o Concise phrasing.
o Consistency in formatting to report template, acronyms, and other areas.
o Reports are written in microsoft word according to a prescribed template using a, 9-point font for the body of the report.
o APA style shall be used for references and publication sections.
o Close communication with the editors involved to tailor the work to the needs of the university.
o Suggestions to reduce redundancy or improve clarity (where relevant).
• Perform services under the following assumptions:
o The materials to be edited are understood to be technical in nature and are primarily (though not exclusively) written by native english speakers.
o University will provide the report sections in an editable format, such as MS word. university will provide contractor a report template to follow.
o University will place documents for editing in a shared drop box and notify contractor when documents are available for editing.
o Edit reports using track-changes mode.
o Upload edited documents to the shared drop box as they are completed and notify university project manager as sections are completed.
o The initial editing of all report sections will be completed no later than march 31, 2026.
o Final editing of all reports will be completed no later than June 1, 2026.

• Professional experience in editing technical reports similar in size, scope, complexity, and structure as the ascent annual report.
• A proven track record of employing editors with the background, skills, and abilities to facilitate the production of a professionally edited report.
• Effective project management practices and procedures to ensure the project deadlines are met.
• Availability for this project for the proposed performance period.
