The vendor required to provide signage services, including the design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of interior and exterior signs.
- Services may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Design and production of new signage
• Installation of new and replacement signs
• On-call inspection and maintenance
• Repairs, refurbishments, and removals as needed
• Compliance with applicable codes, accessibility standards, and city brand guidelines
- Requirement:
1. Sign design
• Develop creative, functional, and code-compliant designs for a variety of sign types, including:
o Building identification and monument signs
o Wayfinding and directional signage
o Interior office and ADA-compliant signs
o Vehicle and equipment graphics
o Temporary event or construction signs
o Banners and posters
• Provide concept renderings, color proofs, and material samples for city review and approval.
• Ensure all designs comply with:
o Local ordinances and building codes
o Accessibility standards (ADA and related requirements)
o City of branding and visual standards
• Prepare final artwork files and production specifications.
2. Fabrication
• Fabricate signs using high-quality, durable materials suitable for interior and exterior environments.
• Provide warranties for materials and workmanship.
• Store and handle materials in a manner that prevents damage prior to installation.
3. Installation
• Provide complete installation services, including:
o Site assessments and field measurements prior to installation
o Coordination of required permits, engineering, and electrical connections
o Safe installation by qualified personnel using appropriate equipment
o Restoration of surrounding areas following installation (patching, paint touch-ups, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with osha safety requirements and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
4. Maintenance and repair
• Provide scheduled and as-needed maintenance services, including:
o Cleaning, lighting replacement, repainting, and refinishing
o Structural inspection and repair
o Graphic replacement or re-lettering
o Sandblasting for surface preparation or restoration
• Provide emergency response for damaged or unsafe signs within 24 hours of notification.
• Maintain detailed service logs and inspection reports for each site visit.
5. Removal and disposal
• Safely remove obsolete, damaged, or non-compliant signs.
• Dispose of materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Repair or restore any affected surfaces.
