The Vendor is required to provide to produce, install and maintain signage.
- Signage needs vary to include event advertising and wayfinding signs with changeable panels, as well as gateway signage welcoming residents and visitors into the county.
- Engineering drawings shall be included in the price per unit as applicable.
- The needed signs qualify as public signs as set forth/defined in the code county - sign, public.
- A sign that is erected and maintained by a town, city, county, state or federal government or an authority thereof, and any lawful road name and number sign regardless of whether it was publicly or privately erected or maintained.
- Event and Wayfinding Signs
• Materials and Appearance: Signs may be single face or double face depending on the location.
• Quote recommended materials, recommending based on attractive appearance, anticipated longevity, minimal maintenance requirements, and cost effectiveness.
• Wayfinding: The wayfinding element will vary by location, pointing traffic to a nearby area(s) of interest.
- Event Advertising: The signs will have space for changeable panels – six (6) unless otherwise specified. The panels will be used to advertise upcoming events.
- Gateway Signage
• The height will be 8’ unless otherwise specified.
• Gateway Signage (Design B): The draft design represents a double-sided sign. The height will be 7’ unless otherwise specified. Contractor will quote recommended materials, recommending based on attractive appearance, anticipated longevity, minimal maintenance requirements, and cost effectiveness. Locations will require approval as applicable by the Board and town councils, and approved location information will be provided to the Contractor when a sign project is initiated.
• Gateway Signage (Design C): The draft design represents a double-sided sign. The height will be 4’ 5” unless otherwise specified. Contractor will quote recommended materials, recommending based on attractive appearance, anticipated longevity, minimal maintenance requirements, and cost effectiveness. Locations will require approval as applicable by the Board and town councils, and approved location information will be provided to the Contractor when a sign project is initiated.
