2026 Entryway Signage Project Services

The Vendor is required to provide 2026 entryway signage project will entail the replacement of six (6) existing wooden “welcome to city” entryway signs with new upgraded signs.
- Requirements
1. Examination of plans and specifications:
•    Carefully examine the plans, specifications, forms of proposal, and contract before the work is contemplated.
•    Considered conclusive evidence that the bidder has investigated and is satisfied as to all conditions to be encountered in performing the work, and is fully informed as to the character, quality, quantities, and costs of work to be performed and materials to be furnished, and to the requirements of the contract documents.
2. Installation site inspections:
•    Responsible for fully acquainting themselves with all conditions of this project and its associated locations, including the instructions and requirement for this bid and a site investigation as necessary, to make sure the responded is capable of providing the services requested by the village.
•    The existing signs will be left in place up until the time that work on the project begins, the village is responsible for the demolition and removal of all existing signs.
3. Sign fabrication construction, and installation:
•    The signs shall be manufactured and constructed to the exact specifications included in the bid documentation, including concrete foundations, structure framing, mounting plates, backer-board, stone veneer, mortar joints, stone caps, aluminum cabinets, paint type and color, acrylic lettering, dimensional lettering, illumination, and mayors’ plaque. 
•    All installed components and materials shall be new and free of defect.
4. Schedule:
•    Work is to be completed as a single year project and the selected bidder is to abide by the completion deadlines set forth in the project documentation. 
•    Exceptions to set deadlines may be made at the village discretion.
