Wayfinding and Signage Consultant Services

The Vendor is required to provide on-call, as-needed services in support of the authority's wayfinding and signage program.
1. Planning and studies
•    Wayfinding and signage plan development.
•    Conduct campus-wide wayfinding assessments and gap analyses.
•    Perform passenger flow and journey mapping studies.
•    Update and refine the wayfinding master plan.
•    Evaluate and recommend integration of digital and dynamic wayfinding technologies.
•    Undertake benchmarking studies and best-practice reviews.
•    Provide ADA and code compliance evaluations.
•    Feasibility studies.
•    Construction feasibility assessment and phasing plan development.
•    Assessment studies, including data collection and facilities inventories.
2. Concept and design
•    Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed signage designs.
•    Establish and update graphic standards including typography, color palettes, and pictograms.
•    Coordinate digital content design for LED and LCD systems.
•    Prepare mock-ups, visualizations, and stakeholder presentation materials.
3. Documentation and implementation
•    Prepare program definition documents (PDDs).
•    Produce design intent drawings, message schedules, and location plans.
•    Document sign families and message hierarchies.
•    Assist with bid specifications, cost estimates, and phasing strategies.
•    Cost estimating.
•    Coordinate with fabricators, architects, and contractors during implementation.
4. Guidelines and standards
•    Develop and update authority's wayfinding and signage design guidelines.
•    Draft technical specifications for fabrication and installation.
•    Assist in the creation and implementation of the authority's signage asset management system.
•    Assist in writing or revising standards for dynamic and digital signage.
5. Support services
•    Conduct field surveys and as-built verifications.
•    Facilitate meetings, presentations, and stakeholder coordination.
•    Provide program management and project tracking support.
•    Perform quality control reviews of third-party signage submittals.
•    Project management.
•    Other services, as requested.
